Amy Waltz

Amy joined our practice in 2016. She is familiar with the South Lyon area and is a graduate of South Lyon High School. She brings over 15 years of outpatient physical therapy experience and a Master’s degree from The University of Michigan. In addition to a well-versed knowledge and experience with general orthopedic and spinal conditions, Amy enjoys treating patients with ankle and foot injuries as well as patients recovering from breast cancer. She is an avid runner and is very passionate about physical fitness and being active through sports and outdoor activities.
Additionally, Amy is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), McKenzie Certified Therapist (Cert. MDT), and Hesch Sacroiliac Practitioner . For more information regarding the treatment mechanisms involved in lymphedema therapy and the McKenzie Method, please see our Advanced Certifications page.
Anna Bertram
PTA
Certified Running Gait Analyst - Level 1
Anna graduated from Kellogg Community College in 2019 (also graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science from Pima University in 2023) and has since been practicing as a PTA in the outpatient setting. She is excited to be a part of the South Lyon community and contribute to the team-oriented atmosphere Brostrom Physical Therapy represents.
Anna loves being an outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant, as being able to follow through with each patient’s recovery is very rewarding to her. She has a passion for not only general orthopedics, but also pre- and post-surgical conditions. She has taken several courses on pelvic floor, and she has had the opportunity to implement these treatment techniques on individuals of various levels of severity; this has allowed her to not only impact their physical limitations, but also their quality of life. In addition, Anna is a Certified Running Gait Analyst - she can analyze and create programs to improve motor control, mobility, and technique specific to each runner (or athlete who runs) based on their movement patterns. Overall, Anna enjoys considering her patients as a whole and how their movement patterns, mobility, and alignment may impact their pain.
Some of Anna's favorite hobbies are fishing, paddle boarding, thrifting, and running. She enjoys being outside and spending time with her family and friends. She is enthusiastic to advance her skills at Brostrom Physical Therapy, emphasize positive patient interaction and outcomes, and utilize her experience to portray her passion for physical therapy to her patients’ health and wellness.
Brandon Little
PT, DPT
Brandon received his Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with a focus in pre-physical therapy in 2012 through Oakland University and then completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Pittsburgh in 2015. In addition to a well-versed knowledge and experience with general orthopedic conditions, Brandon enjoys treating patients with shoulder and lower extremity conditions, as well as youth, intermediate, collegiate, and semi-professional athletes.
Brandon's treatment style is built around working with clients to help them reach their therapeutic goals through a patient-centered and evidence-based program, utilizing a blend of manual therapy and exercises. He is trained in Levels I and II through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) and has treated a wide range of clientele including those with chronic pain.
In his free time, Brandon enjoys golf, hockey, cycling, hiking, woodworking, board games, and spending time with his wife and son.
In our clinic, Brandon is excited to collaborate with a well-versed team of physical therapy and massage therapy professionals, as well as obtain his CMPT and OCS credentials.
Danielle Nelson
LMT, MMP
Licensed Massage Therapist
Medical Massage Practitioner
You may recognize Danielle as one of our Physical Therapy Technicians and Patient Administrator Assistants, but she also performs a wide variety of massage therapy services in our clinic (click here to read more). She is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and graduated from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy in September 2008.
Danielle is passionate about providing a customized touch for each client while providing an environment for healing. She has experience in the physical therapy setting, massage therapy setting, and has also provided care for family members and residents of an assisted living home. In her free time, Danielle enjoys bowling, horseback riding, mountain biking, and trying anything based around water.
As a Medical Massage Practitioner (MMP), Danielle can treat health conditions diagnosed by a doctor. She has advanced training and experience that allows her to provide care focused on healing injuries, improving function, or increasing circulation.
At Brostrom Physical Therapy, Danielle plans to use her upbeat personality and clinical skills to impact the lives and well-being of her massage therapy clients and our physical therapy patients.
Eloise Spoutz
PTA
Eloise graduated from Washtenaw Community College with an Applied Science Degree in their Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Eloise's clinical and professional experience has come from outpatient physical therapy settings; she is familiar with orthopedic, geriatric, and athletic cases. Since she is familiar with carrying her own caseload, she possesses both knowledge and experience in a wide array of diagnoses and physical therapy treatment interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, patient education and instruction, and kinesio-taping.
Eloise enjoys getting to know her patients and how they are feeling, as well as what hobbies/work tasks they need to get back to. From there, she establishes open communication on a timeline of therapy and exercises that can be done at home. She describes herself as flexible, optimistic, and opportunistic, and is passionate about promoting overall health and wellness through physical therapy.
Outside of providing care to her patients, Eloise's hobbies include golfing, going to the gym, being outdoors, and spending time with her golden doodle, Nala.
In our clinic, she plans to couple her outgoing and energetic personality with her superb communication skills. This will enhance her collaboration with our physical therapist and massage therapist team, as well as referring physicians, to provide her patients with outstanding treatment.
Jill Sullivan
PT, ATRIC
Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute Certified
Jill assists on a contingent basis to provide vacation coverage.
Jill joins our team as a licensed physical therapist with over 30 years of experience, most of which come from an outpatient physical therapy setting. Most recently, she worked with patients at a skilled nursing facility to facilitate transitions between hospital to home or the next level of care. She is a proud resident of the local community and is excited to return to her roots in the outpatient setting to provide services. She graduated from Oakland University in 1987 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
Jill is well-versed in a variety of patient conditions and treatment techniques. She commonly uses joint mobilizations, manual therapy, modalities, exercises, and education in her treatment plans and is passionate about making sure patients meet their goals. She has a special interest in treating the senior population. Additionally, she is accustomed to collaborating and educating members of a patient’s care team (such as physicians with various sub specialties, physical therapists, nurses, occupational therapists, caregivers, and family members). When she is not coordinating care or providing treatment, Jill enjoys exercising and spending time with her family and friends.
At Brostrom Physical Therapy, Jill plans to apply her years of experience to provide well-rounded and effective treatment, as well as further her relationships with physicians and patients in the local area.
Kimberly (Kimmie) Berkovich
PT, DPT
Certified Running Gait Analyst - Level 1
Kimmie received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2021. Through her clinical rotations in PT school, she developed a passion for treating orthopedic, sports, and neurological conditions in the outpatient setting. Though not a Michigan native, she fell in love with the Southeast Michigan area by way of visiting for figure skating. She is proud to speak fluent English and Russian.
Kimmie cherishes spending time getting to know her patients, encouraging a collaborative patient-therapist approach to make physical therapy a positive and meaningful experience. She is trained in the use of Dry Needling and HawkGrips, and is Level 1 Gait Analysis Certified - which allows her to analyze and create programs to improve motor control, mobility, and technique specific to each runner (or athlete who runs) based on their movement patterns. She enjoys providing individually tailored treatment approaches that address the patient's primary complaints, functional limitations, and overall goals. She is also a big believer in treating the body as a whole and looking at gross movement patterns as well as isolated movement patterns for a more holistic approach.
In her free time, Kimmie enjoys being active, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. In our clinic, she looks forward to expanding her skill set through continuing education courses and our clinic's collaborative treatment approach so that she can provide a comprehensive and holistic path to a higher quality of life for her patients.
Renée Pawloski

Renée joined our practice in 2020. After graduating from Michigan State University in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology, she pursued and obtained her Doctorate Degree in physical therapy at Central Michigan University in 2012. In addition to her traditional education at the University level, Renée possesses an LSVT BIG Certification, which is a program designed to improve motor skills for those diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.
Renée's clinical and working experience has predominately come from outpatient physical therapy settings; she is familiar with orthopedic, geriatric, post-surgical, worker's compensation, and athletic cases. She uses a mix of manual therapy as well as appropriate exercises to help a patient with their progress. She is also certified and experienced with dry needling for the upper and lower extremities. Education and communication are also some of the most important areas of Renée's practice; she enjoys seeing patients become independent with their care and equipped with tools to succeed after being discharged from physical therapy.
Outside of providing care to her patients, Renée's hobbies include theater, music (especially the piano and trumpet), reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Renée is excited to join the Brostrom PT family and looks forward to providing excellent care in an comfortable environment, as well as connecting with her patients to achieve better outcomes.
Ryan Angelosanto

Ryan was born and raised in South Lyon and is proud to remain a resident to this day. He graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelors Degree in Health Science (Minor in Exercise Science) in 2015 and has been practicing in outpatient settings ever since. He went into the physical therapy field because he has a passion to help people improve their quality of life and to provide quality medical care.
Ryan is familiar with post-operative, orthopedic, geriatric, and athletic cases. Since he is familiar with carrying his own caseload, he possesses both knowledge and experience in a wide array of diagnoses and physical therapy treatment interventions such as functional activities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
Ryan is certified in the LSVT BIG protocol, which is a treatment approach for patients diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Learn more about the LSVT BIG method on our Advanced Certifications page (under the Services tab at the top of our website).
Outside of providing care to his patients, Ryan's hobbies include playing bass guitar, listening to vinyl, going to the movies, spending time with family and friends, and attending or watching sporting events (particularly hockey and football).
In joining our team, Ryan is excited to positively impact his hometown community with outstanding treatment, collaborate with our dynamic group of therapists, and explore professional growth through continuing education.
Ryan Pawloski, PT, DPT, OCS

Orthopedic Clinical Specialist
Lead Physical Therapist
Ryan graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago in May 2019 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and then completed a year-long residency at Northwestern University to become board-certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Prior to obtaining his PT degree, he worked for roughly 5 years providing strength and conditioning training in a gym atmosphere and enjoys athletes of all levels. Ryan is very enthused to offer one-on-one skilled care in a collaborative environment and, given that he has his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification, is very familiar with varying diagnoses and conditions including vestibular conditions.
Ryan's clinical interests include chronic conditions, athletic performance and sports conditions, and all spinal conditions (neck pain, headaches, vertigo, and TMJ). He is passionate about outpatient physical therapy and enjoys the connection he establishes with his patients; overall, he loves seeing his patients regain both confidence and capabilities. He is also experienced with dry needling for the upper and lower extremities.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys reading, hiking, weight-lifting, and spending time with friends and family. At Brostrom Physical Therapy, he plans to apply his education and experience in his hands-on treatment, grow as a well-versed clinician, develop lasting relationships with his patients and referring Physicians, as well as become McKenzie Certified.
As our Lead Physical Therapist, Ryan ensures all patients receive the highest quality of care while assisting in daily management and oversight operations for the clinic.
Taylor Chiatalas (Johnston)

Taylor joined our practice in 2020. After graduating from Saginaw Valley State University in 2015 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Exercise Science, she pursued and obtained her Doctorate Degree in physical therapy at Summa Cum Laude status from The University of Michigan in 2019.
Taylor's clinical and working experience has predominately come from outpatient physical therapy settings; she is familiar with orthopedic, geriatric, neurologic, and athletic cases. She enjoys assisting patients in meeting their therapy goals through determining individualized treatment plans, providing manual therapy, and instructing patients through therapeutic exercises and activities. Taylor also enjoys being a part of each patient's comprehensive care group involving our team of physical therapists as well as referring Physicians and specialists.
Taylor is certified in the FAKTR method, which is a concept of treatment that incorporates the latest research evidence for soft-tissue techniques into a comprehensive protocol to treat common disorders of the musculoskeletal system, as well as complicated injuries. She also received a certification in the LSVT BIG protocol in 2023, which is a treatment approach for patients diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Outside of providing care to her patients, Taylor's hobbies include being active and spending time with her husband, puppy, family, and friends.

Yvonne Henrikson

Licensed Massage Therapist
Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist
Yvonne graduated with her massage therapy license in 1995 from the Health Enrichment Center in Lapeer, MI and brings about 20 years’ worth of medical massage experience. Yvonne is extremely familiar with the outpatient physical therapy setting and has worked in conjunction with physical therapists in treating specific areas. She is approachable, kind, familiar with varying diagnoses and conditions (some of which include pre- and post-operative joint conditions, spinal conditions, chronic headaches, lymphedema, and TMJ).
Beyond what is taught at the traditional university massage therapy program, Yvonne attended continuing education seminars to become a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. This certification uniquely qualifies her to provide manual lymphatic drainage therapy on clients who want an immunity boost, are dieting or detoxing, have pre- or post-surgical swelling (edema), lymphedema, lipedema, or cancer impacting the lymphatic system.
Yvonne is passionate about providing one-on-one, customized care for each patient and her communication and therapeutic manual skills blend nicely for patients to transition between herself and our team of physical therapists for treatment if needed.
At Brostrom Physical Therapy, Yvonne plans to apply her knowledge and massage therapy techniques to create customized plans of care and treatment for her patients.
