We're currently seeking a part-time or full-time Physical Therapist!

Responsibilities:

Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting examinations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.

Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting examinations and test results; following physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physical therapists, physicians, and by prescription.

Helps patient accomplish treatment plan by administering manual therapy; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as therapeutic exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities and in using assistive devices, such as crutches and canes.

Evaluates effectiveness of physical therapy treatments by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommending, adjusting, and modifying.

Completes treatment and discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers; contributing to patient care conferences.

Assures continuation of therapeutic plan during treatment and following discharge by designing individualized home exercise programs; instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs; recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending follow-up programs.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.
Requirements:
-
Licensed as Physical Therapist in the state of MI.

Ability to take direction from Physical Therapists and work as a team member.
